Meet Bink and Bibi!
Bink and Bibi ensures that the integration of sick children into society is faster and better, making them more accepted. Through Bink and Bibi, the focus is not on the child's illness or disease but on the child itself. This way, sick children get more recognition for their individuality and are given the space to stimulate their own qualities and, despite their illness or disease, retain autonomy and control over their own lives.
Strength and support from Bink and Bibi
Sick children are considered pathetic by many people. As a result, they are given fewer opportunities than children who grow up healthy. It is sometimes thought that sick children cannot do much themselves or that they must be helped with everything. That fact limits sick children from being able to develop properly into adults and gives them fewer opportunities to grow up in a normal way than healthy children.
Have you met Bink & Bibi yet?
Hey, I'm Bink!
Bink thinks he is pretty tough, but he also looks up to Bibi. She is also a little older and dares much more. Bink can't use his legs and he has an infusion, but that doesn't stop him from making his dreams come true and having adventures together with Bibi! Occasionally Jet, the nurse from KinderThuisZorg comes to take care of him. He adores Jet. Bink has been raised somewhat sheltered but learns to use his superpowers through Bibi. Bink's special power is speed and becoming invisible. With his super-fast radio-controlled wheelchair, he outpaces everyone.
Nice to meet you, I'm Bibi!
Bibi has a tube. Nutrition is in her backpack. She is a girl with guts and is so enthusiastic she sometimes forgets she is screaming instead of talking. She likes to take the lead in every big adventure she takes on with Bink. But she is also very sweet and loves people and animals very much.
Her special power is radiating love and talking to animals. In her infinite backpack she carries all kinds of useful and special things.
