If it appears that a home visit is appropriate, a date will be scheduled with you. Home visits usually take place in the morning and you will receive a confirmation of this by email.
To collect objective data, the pediatric nurse will contact the primary care provider or other disciplines involved. You consent to this contact by agreeing to the terms in the "inventory agreement" attached to the confirmation email.
This is in strict compliance with the AVG rules and professional confidentiality. If you do not give your consent, it is not possible to continue the inventory and the indication process stops.
Should the home visit occur after the expiration of a reindication, contact your health insurance company. Provide the date of the home visit and ask for an extension of the indication until the inventory is completed.
At the home visit, you and your child must be present. Depending on your child's developmental age, he or she will also be included in the discussion.
